Richard Gal is the Chief Technology Officer of Anthrodontics, where he is responsible for the company’s technology strategy, security posture, AI governance, and long-term platform resilience. His work focuses on ensuring that advanced AI capabilities are delivered with the reliability, transparency, and safeguards required for healthcare professionals operating in high-trust environments.
With a career spanning technology leadership, quantitative risk analysis, product development, financial markets, and business strategy, Richard brings a multidisciplinary perspective to building mission-critical systems. He has led technology initiatives as a CTO, Product Owner, and Software Engineer, while also managing risk-sensitive portfolios and decision-support systems in highly regulated and data-intensive industries. This combination of technical depth and commercial experience enables him to evaluate challenges not only from an engineering perspective, but also through the lenses of operational risk, governance, scalability, and long-term business sustainability.
Throughout his career, Richard has specialised in designing systems where correctness, reliability, and accountability are essential. His approach emphasises rigorous planning, risk mitigation, security-by-design principles, and resilient architectures capable of supporting critical workflows under real-world conditions. Rather than pursuing technology for its own sake, he focuses on creating solutions that remain dependable, maintainable, and trustworthy as organisations grow and requirements evolve.
At Anthrodontics, Richard oversees the technical foundations that support AI-assisted clinical workflows, helping ensure that innovation is balanced with safety, privacy, and professional responsibility. His vision is to build healthcare technology that professionals can confidently rely upon—combining the capabilities of modern AI with the resilience, governance, and operational discipline expected of systems that support patient care.
